Do Things For A Reason…

Like adults, children from the age of around eight prefer to do things for a reason rather than because they’ve been told what to do. Teach children that choosing only the fun foods may make the overall diet short on essentials. In the same way, make them understand the importance of physical exercise and activity. Encourage them to play outdoors games and teach them that jumping in the car for short distance travel, instead of walking or cycling, will mean missing an opportunity for keeping fit.
