Use Nuts In Savoury Dishes

Many nuts can be used in savoury dishes. Hazelnuts or almonds, for instance, can be toasted and then added to grain salads. Braised nuts make a good addition to stews, soups and curries. Nuts can also be used as a flour substitute or in stuffing. Bear in mind that when substituting ground nuts for any dry ingredient, their natural oils will soften the texture of the dish.
