Banana is popular for breakfasts and in the lunch box because it is filling, satisfying and healthy. Smoothies are easy and quick to prepare for the entire family when rushing in the mornings.
- 1/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt
- 1 banana, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup milk of your choice such as almond, coconut or regular
- 2 tsp honey
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- Combine everything in the blender. Puree until smooth. Add more milk if you need a thinner consistency.
