Almond, Banana & Blueberry Smoothie

Here’s a delicious breakfast smoothie for your family. Almond milk is simple to make and is a great alternative to dairy milk. Use chilled for best taste.


  • For Almond Milk:
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 4 cups water
  • For smoothie:
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 banana
  • Large handful blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder (optional)


  • For almond milk, rinse and drain the almonds and place in your food blender with 4 cups filtered water. Soak overnight. Blend on high speed for 3 minutes or until smooth. Strain through muslin cloth or a fine sieve. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • For the smoothie, place all the ingredients in a blend and blend well. Serve immediately. You can use frozen berries can be used for chilled slushie-style smoothie.
