Make the kids use the stairs instead of the elevator or escalator. These are great conveniences, but they make us very lazy. While the older you get, the more you prefer the elevator or escalator, but there is no reason why the children cannot run up or down the stairs. They have the energy to do it and will also help them be active. If they’re not too young, let them take the stairs two at a time. This causes them to exert more. Remember, every movement is exercise!
