Strawberry-Oats Smoothie

Strawberries contain high levels of fibre, which helps keep you full longer and prevents overeating. The high levels of vitamin C can also spur your metabolism, so you can burn more calories.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup chilled almond or any other nut milk
  • ½ tsp. of honey.

Method

  • Soak rolled oats in a little water for 5-7 minutes.
  • Blend oats, banana, strawberries, honey, and milk until smooth and creamy. Enjoy!
