Peanut butter is an excellent replacement for ordinary butter, and is rich in fibre and protein. Furthermore, peanut butter helps you burn fat because it promotes the building of lean muscle mass, while the fibre content helps suppress your appetite for extended periods of time. Pairing peanut butter with a slice of whole grain bread makes a healthy, fat-fighting snack. Mind the quantity, though. Stick to 1–2 tablespoons per day. More than this would lead to weight gain.
