Have A Glass Of Fresh Cranberry Juice!

Just two glasses of a low-calorie, high-polyphenol cranberry juice drink a day could help protect against heart attack. Cranberries contain heart-healthy antioxidants known as polyphenols. Drinking cranberry juice every day will give you increased levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL or good) cholesterol, which helps to maintain healthy arteries by sweeping up bad cholesterol. You will also have better blood vessel function and less oxidative stress, which can prevent inflammation, a condition linked to heart disease, obesity, diabetes and arthritis. It’s berry good!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cranberries fresh or frozen
  • 2 cups pure water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Stevia to taste

Method

  • Place cranberries and water in a blender and blend on high for 2 minutes.
  • Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
  • Squeeze in lemon juice
  • Add stevia.

You can store it in the fridge for a few days.
