It seems counterproductive to urge your kids to eat healthy if your home is filled with unhealthy, toxic foods. If you’re going to stock packets of chips and sugary drinks at home they will always choose those over the healthier, more satisfying options. Get rid of junk foods. This doesn’t mean your children can’t have any fun snacks or treats. They most certainly can. Just upgrade to high-quality, nutritious treats. Make date bars by mixing soaked dates, rolled oats, and cinnamon in a food processor and then shaping them into small bars. Or blend fresh fruits like mango, peaches, or watermelon, and place into ice-pop moulds to give the kids a tasty refreshing treat.
