Doing any exercise is better than none
As you get older, your risk of dying at any age, from any cause, reduces as your level of exercise increases. According to researchers from the University of Queensland, Australia, this remains the case even after adjusting for other behavioural risk factors. Compared with older men and women who reported no activity, the risk of death for those doing any form of structured exercise reduced, more and more, up to the equivalent of at least 300 minutes exercise per week. So what are you waiting for? Get up and do something physical!
