Coriander-Mint Chutney

Incredibly versatile, this chutney is a great addition to meals, adding a fresh and tangy flavour. It can serve as a dip or topping for grilled chicken or vegetables. You can even mix it into salads with legumes, veggies, and quinoa. Coriander acts as a diuretic, which can help reduce your blood pressure. Ingredients

  • Fresh, cleaned coriander and mint leaves 1 cup each (avoid using stalks)
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • ½ tsp. cumin powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • Water

Method

  • In a mixer, add coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chillies, ginger, cumin powder.
  • To maintain the vibrant green colour, add salt and lime juice in the end.
  • Add water and put it through a blender to a fine consistency.
