Using The Gym Ball

Gym balls are known to promote joint and core stability by making the body stabilise itself on an unstable surface. They are relatively inexpensive and portable so they’re perfect for home or workplace use. They come in different sizes. Choose one where you are able to sit on top of the ball with your knees bent at about 90˚ and your feet flat on the floor. Taller people will need a larger size. Check that the ball is durable and anti-burst. It should support your weight, and any additional weight like a pair of dumb-bells if you decide to use them. Incredibly versatile, you can use a gym ball for squats, crunches, push-ups and more. If you’re an absolute beginner, just sit on it for a few minutes every day.
