Roasted Sweet Potato Chips

These are so easy and take very little time to cook. One of nature’s finest sources of goodness, sweet potatoes are not only very low carb but also packed with potassium, carotenoids, magnesium and iron, reducing stress levels and boosting the immune system of your family. Sweet potatoes are enriched with dietary fibre, are low in calories, and keep you full longer. They contain vitamin B5 and B6 which help in maintaining a good metabolism. They’re also fun to eat and the kids will love them!

Ingredients

  • 3-4 large sweet potatoes
  • 2 whole unpeeled bashed garlic cloves
  • Macadamia nut oil
  • Pink salt

Method

  • Preheat oven to 200°C.
  • Cut the sweet potatoes into chips. Place in a bowl and lightly coat with olive oil and pinch of salt.
  • Pop them in the oven for 30-45 minutes depending how burnt you like them.
