Creamy Raspberry Smoothie

Raspberries are a good source of fibre, which can help manage or prevent obesity, cholesterol levels, blood pressure and heart disease. Raspberries are also rich in vitamins C and E, alpha and beta carotene, lutein, zeaxanthin, choline, and selenium. Ricotta cheese is a good source of calcium and provides a range of other essential nutrients including vitamin A, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B12, Vitamin K, iodine, phosphorus, selenium and zinc.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/4 cup of fresh organic Italian ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup of skim milk
  • Raw organic honey

Method

  • Add all the ingredients into your blender.
  • Add honey and enjoy!
