If you want to reshape your body, use the Four Pillar Approach:
Mindset: Get clear about your weight loss goals and know why it’s important for you to achieve them. You need to know what your target is, so you know what you’re aiming for. Be clear about the result you’re trying to achieve. Be realistic.
Body: If you’re a newbie, start slow but exercise every single day. Gradually, when you’re comfortable, train at least four days a week with intensity. Make sure your training is effective. If you need to, get professional help from a good personal trainer.
Nutrition: Because it counts for 70% of your results, nutrition cannot be overlooked. Eat small portions, every 2-3 hours. Follow a high protein diet with good quality vegetables, cut down on caffeine and alcohol, and cut out any extra sugar from your diet. Just because you work out doesn’t mean you have the luxury to eat bad.
Lifestyle: Make sure you’re getting at least 7-8 hours sleep a night. Lower your stress levels by doing things like stretching and yoga. Supplement your nutrition with essential vitamins and minerals that you might not be getting from your diet. Deficiencies in certain micronutrients can affect your sleep, stress and energy levels.
If you learn to manage these four pillars, you will reshape not only your body, but you’re your mindset and life.
