For effective weight loss, make sure that you eat wholegrains whenever you can. You can make simple swaps while cooking. Swap white pasta with wholemeal pasta. Shun white bread completely and opt for multigrain breads, including rye and spelt breads. You can also look for recipes with oats or oatmeal. Wherever possible, use plaint Greek yoghurt instead of cream. While baking, if it is impossible to get rid of white, all-purpose flour, switch half the white flour with whole wheat flour. Try brown rice instead of white rice in your meals and include wholegrain crackers and crispbreads as snacks.
