Pomegranate Rubies, Anyone?

Pomegranates, that have been eaten since ancient times, has incredible health benefits. The ruby-red seeds get their brilliant colour from polyphenols, which are powerful antioxidants. Pomegranate juice contains more antioxidants than red wine and even green tea. The antioxidants help remove free radicals, protect cells from damage, and reduce inflammation. Ingredients

  • Two fresh pomegranates
  • A pinch of Himalayan salt
  • Lemon juice

Method

  • Add the arils/seeds to the blender.
  • Add water as per the consistency you wish for.
  • Give it a quick blend and then filter the juice through a strainer.
  • Add salt and lemon juice.
  • Enjoy chilled!
