A study published in the Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention says that cabbage varieties are sources of important antioxidant and anti-inflammatory phytochemicals, including sulforaphane and flavonoids, like apigenin, kaemferol and quercetin. Cabbage juice can not only help you fight inflammation, but is also good news for weight-watchers. Its fibre and high water content helps you stay full longer, prevents hunger pangs, and keep you hydrated. Blend together a cup of chopped raw cabbage, a slice of pineapple, half chopped green apple, and one teaspoon of lemon juice. Increase the pineapple if you want it sweeter. Add black salt for taste.
